Scarlett Johansson to Louis Vuitton

According to Fashionweekdaily, Scarlett Johnansson is to be the new face for Louis Vuitton:

"Two weeks ago, The Daily reported Scarlett Johansson had been tapped as one of the new faces of Louis Vuittons fall advertising campaign, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Now The Daily has learned from an inside source that the 19-year-old Johansson will allegedly be paid $5.33 million to pose for the LVMH-owned luxury goods and clothing house, with the first images scheduled for August magazines. When reached for comment, a Louis Vuitton representative said the company could not confirm Johanssons business matters. 'We expect to make an announcement by the end of next week,' the rep said. 'But I cant comment now because the nature of celebrities can be very fickle.' A Vuitton insider commented that Johansson was picked after company executives wanted a younger name post-Jennifer Lopez. 'Shes young with classic look that hints at a bygone era,' the source said."

As opposed to JLo? ouch.

Isabella Rossellini had recent problems with age and fashion, says British vogue, "the raven-haired daughter of Ingrid Bergman, who has complained that she was ousted as the face of Lancome in 1994 because she was too old, laughs at the idea that she could ever turn back. 'I'm 52,' she told Women's Wear Daily. 'I don't think cosmetic companies have plans to come back to me. I'm available.'"

And Page Six noted yesterday that 60 year old former covergirl Lauren Hutton is enjoying life, and still looking grand, at 60, "Only a few years after a serious motorcycle accident, the seminal supermodel just returned from a month-long trip to Africa (her 28th visit) that included cliff-diving near Zanzibar and a safari in the Serengeti, where she tracked game on foot and shocked her guide by picking up a 6-foot boa constrictor."

Party on.
